Indian Spice Centre began in 1986 as North Adelaide Health Foods on O'Connell St in the heart of Adelaide's trendy shopping precinct. With an emphasis on Nutrition and Health, the store began to attract loyal customers from all over Adelaide.
The store underwent a spectacular transformation to satisfy the demand for Indo-Asian groceries in Adelaide. With the expanded product-line, came a new name and fresh location in Adelaide's eastern suburbs: Rostrevor.
As a supplier of many of Adelaide's Indian Restaurants, the store was well known for its variety of Spices and Fresh Fruit & Veg.
With a continuing demand the store moved into the Import & Wholesale marketplace; directly importing several product lines from India and Malaysia and supplying stores interstate. The result is a continually expanding product line.
Indian Spice Centre further expanded, opening its second store in Daw Park conveniently located for customers in Adelaide's Southern and Western suburbs.
